Day at the zoo

Callie, mommy and uncle Dave went to the SB zoo! Callie fed the giraffe for the first time and got her hand slobbered on - but she didn't get scared at all! She loved it in the kids play area - mommy and Callie slid down the hill and hatched out of some eggs. She kept mommy and uncle busy though - chasing a toddler around and carrying 21.8 lb around in your arms ain't easy! Whew!

Off to a Vegas "bachelor party" for uncle Henry... Daddy's not around to give Callie her morning cuddles! Callie does not like that at all!

Necklaces

Callie loves her necklaces - she is ready to hit up Mardi gras! She will put them all on herself and then promptly get in trouble - she doesn't have a great track record... Started off with a photo shoot fail back when she was 7 months(?).. Gotta keep my eye out for her!

Officially weaned :(

Callie is all grown up... We officially weaned and today was the first day she didn't nurse at all. Mommy has such mixed emotions! Definitely going to miss the cuddles! 😭😭😭 but at least mommy can start wearing turtlenecks again... Just in time for summer. 😝

Taking Callie pics has gotten a little easier now that she takes posing orders... Saying "Callie happy" will get her to smile for the camera... And now "Callie strong!" will get her to flex her muscles... Like daddy, like Callie!

Kitchen fun

Callie's been having lots of fun in the kitchen lately at 14 months. I'm trying to get her started early so she can cook mommy dinner. Here she is learning how to chop some bok choy. Eat your heart out Yan Can Cook! Also... She obsession with bean bags... Sorry I mean - bags of beans continue...
