Sesame Street live!

On Sunday, we went to go watch Sesame Street live! Elmo makes a new friend from India - chumki! It was really fun for Callie - and almost as fun for daddy, as he got to get in a good 2 hr nap. Lol! Callie didn't blink for the first half of the show, but by the the second half she was dancing and bouncing around and clapping along with the audience after every scene!  It may have been too much for her though - because that night she had some bad dreams! Kept waking up crying and was talking in her sleep saying "bye!!! Bye!" - meaning there was something she definitely did not like! Poor baby!!!! 

Underwood farms

This past weekend, we took a trip to underwood farms. We're so lucky that it's closeby! It was strawberry season and we picked 3 boxes of strawberries as past of our class trip with horizon hills. Callie helped picked strawberries, but got a little put off when one got squishy in her hands and left her with a red sticky hand! But once she realized she could eat those strawberries - she didn't want to leave! She are 7 strawberries in a row just standing in the fields before we could sweep her away! We took a tractor ride and visited the animals and petting zoo. Callie was so sweet to help "brush goat!" And lucky for us, the goat didn't mind that Calie kept tripping and falling on top and all over him! :)

Soup!

Callie likes soup! She's so funny - will now tell you what she wants to eat/drink. Kept asking for more soup. We put it in her doidy cup and she's gotten pretty good at it. No more spills or dribbles.  She likes to sip and slurp til it's all gone.  

When Callie farts - we call it puutt puutt. So we say - Callie puutt putt. She then will then blame it on someone else and say nai nai puutt putt.. Etc etc. such a funny girl!

Other notables - can now climb up on sofa on her own and starting to take a few steps down the stairs by herself. Growing too fast!!

8th tooth!

Callie's tooth finally broke! Yay! Now she has 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. Chomp chomp! At 16 mo - her teeth are coming in a little slow - but that's ok, cuz it hasn't stopped her from eating!! Callie's gotten a little pickier with her food lately. We took her to Leila's (our favorite local restaurant) with gong gong and nai nai for Mother's Day today and she spit out the crab and coughed out the short ribs. Definitely prefers her string cheese (Cheeesssh!) and banana over Leila's... Good for us! More for mommy!

Hot fun!

Lately the weather has been hot hot hot! It doesn't stop Callie from enjoying the outdoors! She's enjoying her water table and although she's scared if the caterpillar sprinkler toy when it's on - she still goes up to it to give it a hug and kiss. Her latest obsession - running under the parachute! Callie has been super affectionate lately too... Been giving everything hugs and kisses - especially llama llama and the bird from are you my mother? Dr Seuss book. She sees them on the page and will pet the character, kiss it and hug the pages. Such a sweetie pie!
