Dress up time!

Meow meow Kelsey dressed up as a cat earlier this week.  She was so kind to keep her ears and tail on for pictures.  Kelsey loves Willie (I think).  Whenever she sees him, she points and rubs her feet against him (when she's in my lap).  If Willie does come around though, she tends to run back to mommy.  Haha!  I think Willie's got a new best friend.

We visited our friends Marcus and Katelyn last weekend and Callie dressed up in Katelyn's Cinderella dress and she was in heaven!  She absolutely loved that dress and did not want to take it off.  She even put on the shoes.  Heheh!  It was her first time in heels and with a few stumbles, she experienced first hand the challenges with walking in them.  This is just the beginning, kid!  Doh!  

Messy hair don't care

Kelsey's hair has been getting longer and longer!  We have been putting her hair in pigtails as of late, but Kelsey's hair is getting cray cray.  She seems to understand that the brush is for brushing hair and again will grab it out of your hand and brush her own hair.  She looks like she's got a little baby wig. Keke.

Fresh out of the bath.  She loves her banana toothbrush that Callie picked out for her before she was born.

This kid is walking everywhere by the way.  She doesn't bother crawling anymore!

Books books and more books

Check out this awesome stash of free books I scored today on a sell/buy site off facebook.  We have been stocking up our house with lots of books lately, especially homeschool curriculum as I would love to be able to homeschool Callie and Kelsey.

Kelsey is a big fan of the free books!  She is quite the character though.  She likes books but does not seem to like being read to.  Rather, she likes to explore and hold the books herself and look at them at her own time.  Quite the independent baby! =)
