Our annual passes to Disneyland are finally coming to an end - so we have been squeezing in as many trips as we possibly can before that happens. One thing we did was do a roller coaster day with just Callie and I (and schedule a separate Kelsey day where she gets to pick out all the rides on the following week). We (or I) were determined to hit all the mountains in one afternoon.
I must say I was quite proud of myself (ourselves). We parked out on the street after 3pm. Callie was reluctant to ride in the stroller and raced with me (she got the OK to stay on foot, as long as she could keep up! lol), but eventually hopped on the stroller for max efficiency.
Between 3:30pm and closing (8pm for CA adventure and 9pm Disneyland), we hit the following:
- Went inside the park at CA Adventure and got Fast Passes for Soaring over the World
- Raced over to Disneyland (they held us at the ticket booth thinking we were sharing passes b/c of the time stamps, but I showed them how I was sweating from all the running and they let us through
- Star Tours
- Space Mountain (This was Callie's favorite - even though it was so jerky, she bumped her head! I was actually quite proud of her, as I remember being really scared of this ride at her age!)
- Thunder Mountain (almost 1.5hr wait time!)
- Matterhorn (Callie wasn't scared - I showed her YouTube videos of the Yeti popping out. What a brave little kid!)
- Soaring over the World at CA adventure - finally a fast pass!
- Guardians of the Galaxy (okay. This may not have been age appropriate... lol! It was thrilling, even for me! Your butts are definitely off the seat! Poor Callie was whimpering at the end... saying "Callie scared! Callie scared!" This is where I definitely felt bad for the kid!
- Ended the night with Splash Mountain (in like 40/50 degree weather!) - But we changed into warm cozy PJs afterwards and headed home

Waiting it out for Thunder Mountain. Callie couldn't remember this ride for the life of her. I think it got a little dark, so she couldn't see anything.
Ha! Meeting the height requirements for Matterhorn.
As you can see from the series of pictures below, Callie was having a blast! Lol!!!
