Bathtime for Kelsey

Warning!  Explicit Pictures!  (Sorry older Kelsey!)

Baby bathtime is a big deal at the Ing household!  Poor Kelsey only gets a bath once a week... but that's okay, right?  When it's bathtime, daddy and I tag-team and use Callie's submarine bath toy sprayer (a big sister gift from Kelsey)

One thing about babies... they are so meaty!  I love Kelsey's little meaty booty.  I had to get a shot of her 5 month old booty before she's all grown up!

Rolling Over

A major milestone occurred this past week!  Kelsey rolled over at 5 months!  I must admit - I'm pretty impressed with her rolling capabilities.  I would've thought you'd need to move your arm outta the way, but I guess babies just know what to do.

Here's a video of her performance!  You should be very proud of yourself Kelsey!  Callie, Daddy and Mommy are! Please ignore the "no's" in the background. :)

Bad guys

Today Callie drew a black bad guy. I encouraged her to draw bad guys of different colors. Good parenting? Or am i over thinking things? Hmmm..

Callie's 4 year old check-up

Callie had her 4 year old check up this past week and my how she's grown!  She is now 39 1/4 inches tall... Almost tall enough to ride all the rides at disneyland!  This is so exciting!  Thunder Mountain here we come!

During the check-up, Callie had to do all sorts of "games".  They checked if she could jump forward 20 inches, stand on one foot, write her name, throw overhand... and Callie passed each one!  Although, she did only squeak by when they asked her if she ate vegetables and she replied broccoli.  Callie was feeling a little shy during the Q&A sessions.  She would whisper the answer to me and I would say it out loud for the doctor and nurse to hear.

One thing that we were anticipating were her 4 year old shots!  There were 2 total and we brought the buzzy bee/lady bug to help "overwhelm her nervous system" so that the pain messages won't get to her brain.  Most of it worked, as she didn't feel a thing with one - but the MMR vaccine stung and the buzzy bee didn't help with that one much.  There were lots of tears, but Callie was still very brave!  We did also ask Dr Rubin about #2's - Callie's #2 are ginormous!  Uncomfortable for her (and it clogs our toilets)... Just like Daddy's!!  Dr Rubin recommended some fiber and we have since added another gummy to her gummy regimen (Vitamins, Probiotics and Fiber).  No complaints from Callie there!

Growing up!  My baaaaaaaaaa-by!  (Whenever I lament about her growing up, she reassures me by saying I can move in with her and cook for her and take care of her kids.  Sounds like a plan!)
