Sweet Memories

Callie - 4 years old:  I was putting lotion on Callie and then Callie starts putting lotion on me.  Says - where did Kelsey scratch you and then proceeded to gingerly apply the lotion to those areas.  I said to her, thanks for taking care of me and she responds... It's my pleasure. <3

Kelsey 14 mo old:  Normally, I sleep with Kelsey at night but am gone by the time she wakes up as I start work early and often go to the gym on the weekends before the kids wake up.  This past Saturday, I slept in with her until she woke.  She woke up with me beside her and had the most genuine happiest smile and I could tell she was so happy and surprised to see me there.  I wish I could have more of these moments. <3

Kelsey Misc Pics Nov 2017

Our cutie pie Kelsey!  This is Kelsey at Ms Bonnie's class.  For some reason is really drawn to the Inside Out dolls.  Every time we go to Horizon Hills she will point to the inside out dolls and when I try to hand her Joy, Disgust, Anger or Sadness, she rejects them all.  Instead, she insists on Fear and gets a crack out of him.  What a crack-up!

We got Kelsey's school pictures back this past week.  We tried our best to get her to smile, but it didn't happen. Lol!  The pictures were taken back when Kelsey kept getting these horrible nose bleeds (a cold mist humidifier has done wonders since), but you can see there was a ginormous blood clot we couldn't get out without triggering more bleeding!  Ugh!  Still  a little cutie pie though. 13 month Kelsey. =)

Every Wednesday, Danica comes from Early Intervention to work with Kelsey.  She's such a good student!  Look at that attention she has at the desk playing with playdough.  Kelsey definitely doesn't scare from strangers easily, although lately I've noticed her running to me when she hears the doorbell ring.  Per Danica, Kelsey is her star student!  Kelsey plans out multi-step actions (e.g. climbing on top of Rody/me and mimics what Danica does).  Here Danica is trying to show Kelsey how to smash and roll play doh (Kelsey just likes to poke at it, she's quite the poker.)

Misc Nov 2017 Pics

Callie loves tinker crate.  Here she is making fossils with the model clay!  Smile Callie - I need to see your eyes!

Daddy and Callie had a Daddy Princess Ball this past weekend.  I've never seen Mike so excited.  Not the best pics b/c my phone died, but he got her flowers and they had a special dance at the end of the night that Mike gushed about.
"The last song was my girl and Callie and I danced... I would sing the song and point to her when it got to the my girl part and she we giggle and hug me tight"  (Then bunch of emojis with emotional tears). He tried to recreate the moment at home and play the song, but she wasn't into it.  LOL!

Callie wanted to fit in the car with Ruby at Callen's birthday party.  It was a tight squeeze.

In Chinese school this past weekend, Callie was learning fruits.  They had a fun puzzle game.  Tina Lao Shi is the best!!

Oye - it's been a busy weekend!

Misc Pics from 10/17

Callie has lots of fun at Roots & Wings.  She comes back covered with dirt like Pig Pen, so I know she's having lots of fun!

One of her favorite activities is to draw pictures.  She adds so much detail and there is a story behind each one.

We started homeschooling this year.  Here she is doing tally marks.  Good job C!

Kelsey will run to you with the biggest smile and give you a hug.  It is adorable!

Writing messages is a great way to practice writing skills. =)

Tally marks!

How old is mommy?  Lets count by 5's!

Roots & Wings Field Trip to Underwood Farms

Kelsey had her first field trip to Underwood Farms tagging along with Big Sis Callie.  Auntie Joan came along to help and join the fun!

We each came home with a pumpkin and painted it for Family Fun during our weekly Family meeting on Sunday.

Kids could not get enough of the bean pit.  I wish we had one at home!

On the wooden train - choo choo!

Callie made sure Kelsey was safe in her lap!
Pony ride!  Kelsey was too young to go on it this year, maybe next time!
