Bedtime with Callie is one of mommy's most favorite times of the day. Our ritual starts at 6:45-7p where Callie says good night to gong gong and nai nai. She'll go knock on their door and tease as if she won't be giving any hugs or kisses, but she does! (Btw I taught her Eskimo kisses last night and our cuddly time can't get any cuter with some nose to nose action - so sweet!) after good nights we go to her room and Callie goes into her crib and plays a bit with the crib you to hear some lullabies. The off to the bathroom and we do potty time. I made the mistake of giving her some tissue to pretend wipe bc today, she finally went pee pee in the potty and it got pretty messy with soggy tissue! But mommy was so proud! ...even if it was just an accident. ;)
Bath time is still in her infant tub and we ket her brush her own teeth. Dry off and a game of stop and go per Callie's commands as we head into mommy and daddy's bedroom. Mommy brushes Callie's hair while we watch daddy on the monitor cleaning up the bathroom and then diaper (Callie gets to choose ball or balloon design), then massage - Callie helps put lotion on her own legs - pjs, sleep sack and we turn down the lights and snuggle in bed with her friends bunny, dolly and hippo... And a few good books. And then we head off to Callie's bedroom where daddy is waiting with a warm bottle. :)
Also... I see Eskimo kisses as part of out routine moving forward...;)
