One thing I've been worried about is the relationship between Callie and Kelsey. I want both girls to know how special and how much we love both of them - and that a growing family means more love in our family. I've been reading books like Siblings without Rivalry, Peaceful Parents / Happy Siblings and talking up a storm about how Callie is going to be a great big sister. What I didn't expect was for Callie to be super sweet to Kelsey. We had bought blue balloons for Callie and put the picture of Callie and a baby doll in the bassinet with Kelsey - and let Callie know that we had been telling Kelsey all about her big sister. When Callie came - she was so sweet. She immediately went to hug Kelsey and told her about how much she loved her and about a bracelet that she made for Kelsey at school. So stinking sweet. She told Kelsey how she didn't know that she was coming that day - she was so surprised. and just the most adorable thing. I did ask Callie if she wanted to hold Kelsey, but she said no - that she just wanted to give her hugs. Lol.
Callie meeting Kelsey for the first time.
The bracelet that Callie made for Kelsey. There's blue, yellow and green beads representing our family.
Congratulations to the Ing Family! :)
We actually only stayed "one night". Although the nurses were nice - it was just too tiring getting vitals checked and it was hard to rest and take care of Kelsey in the room without all our baby supplies!
The family gets to meet Kelsey too! Nai nai likes to sing to Kelsey the infamous Chiu Chow song - "bing bing bah.. yuo di nah di gah"... Or something like that. LOL
Po po also pays a visit with Uncle Danny and a bouquet of flowers.
A rare moment where Kelsey is not in a milk comatose state.
But my favorite is watching Callie and Kelsey together. Sisters are the best. <3
