2014 comes to an end!

Tonight we celebrated the end of 2014 with a countdown (on demand) through Netflix! Callie picked up the counting down really well and it was even more fun having her join us! A kiss and a "happy new year!" and it was all over. How time flies!

Callie is starting daycare/school next week and mommy is nervous! I've been practicing with her various scenarios to get her ready. I tell her - let's pretend! You are playing with this toy and I try to take it! What do you say?! Say - "Stop! I don't like that. You can have a turn when I'm done."  Callie doesn't quite get all that but will say - "stop! I don't like it!" And then she smiles and hands me her toy. Hmmm... Still got to work on that.

I'll also say - let's pretend. I am going to push you! (Push) What do you say?! She then says - "Stop! I don't like it." Then she smiles and then starts to push me. Hmmm still some work to do there too. 

But we'll get there! Practice makes perfect!
